Peaceful Healing Massage

Services Offered

Basic Swedish Massage: Swedish massage is consisted on continuous strokes, giving you a light, medium or firm pressure depending on what your body is most comfortable with.

Hot Stone Therapy: This special modality is commonly known within the spa industry, leaving stones on the body to help relax the muscles and spine. At Peaceful Healing, stones are used at a more therapeutic level, moving and utilizing the heat from the heated rock (adjusted for your comfort of temperature) as a therapeutic approach to breaking down muscle tension and soreness. The rocks will remain moving in your therapist's hands along skin surface of your back, legs, arms, neck and feet. As a safely precaution, your therapist will ask to make sure the temperature suits your needs and isn't too hot.

Deep Tissue Work: Deep tissue work is most commonly misunderstood, unfortunately, by those who have had painful experiences in the past. There are many levels of deep tissue work. This modality can be done at many different depths of a client's comfort level. Whether that is using pinpoint finger work, or working with the forearm/elbow to reach a deeper level of your muscular system. Everyone is different in regards to the pressure they prefer and it can fluctuate when receiving a session. One session you may prefer more of a deep tissue, while the next you may want simply more of a relaxation experience. Deep tissue is not for everyone; however, if you are curious as to if it could benefit your health, do not hesitate to ask your therapist for a demo.

Infrared Sauna: The infrared sauna stimulates health benefits at a cellular level. The deep, penetrating heat produces more sweat at lower temperatures and heats the body from within the core. With our 3-in-1 sauna, the health benefits range from detoxification, to weight loss and heart health, anti-aging and muscle recovery to immunity stimulation. The countless benefits for improved sleep, fighting disease, renewed skin, muscle repair, reduced inflammation and so much more are now available for all body types and ages in our infrared sauna. The near, mid, and far wave-lengths; with EMF levels safer than a cell phone, provide healing light to help people feel better, do more, and live fully. Learn more by clicking here!

Cryo Therapy: Localized Cryo Therapy is the use of monitored -30° refrigerated air applied directly to an area of pain/discomfort on the body. This service is provided with the safest technology while the temperature of skin is gauged from start to finish of treatment, without chemicals. Skin temperature will lower anywhere between -30° to -40° from a client’s core reading, which in result stimulates what is known as a “cold shock.” The cold shock stimulates the central nervous system, thus a triggering norepinephrine release. Similar to using an ice pack, cryo therapy is an efficient way of reducing pain, inflammation and swelling at a fraction of time, while also stimulating neurotransmitters to the brain to help with many other areas of the body. Cryo therapy ranges from physical, mental and beauty benefits. Please read more of the benefits of cyo therapy under the "Cryo Therapy" tab. "Add-on" during your session allows up to one localized treatment area to be worked on during your massage session, this takes about 3 minutes and then continues with your tailored massage. "Stop in" treatment is a quick drop in to the office for solely a local treatment, 3 minutes total. "Mini Cryo-Massage" is a quick drop in offer for clients to still receive the benefits of massage and Cryo therapy integrated together. It is a 15 minute session, allowing time a focus on a localized area needing attention.

Facial Refresh This Cryofacial is a healing and rejuvenating service which not only focuses on specific trigger point and massage therapy for sinuses, but also integrates hot and cold stones, hot towel exfoliation with cupping therapy. The science behind the cupping and Cryo therapy integration has many benefits including: added blood flow, increased collagen production, healthy aging, wrinkle reduction, pore size reduction, decrease TMJ habits/pain, and many more. Feel rebooted from the inside out with this facial refresh. (Should you choose not to have the Cryo therapy you may substitute with an exfoliating scrub in place of.)

Clinical Foot Therapy: This therapy is highly recommended for those with feet/foot issues. From bunions to past injuries, and current achy feet - clinical foot therapy is a great and effect service for your feet. Not only will it help your feet feel much freer, your entire body will feel the relief. Everything starts with your neck and reflects down, while everything ends on your feet, including your body weight. Each session includes a 10 minute essential oil foot bath, with Lavender, Eucalyptus, and Tea Tree oils – helping break down the tension in the fascia. Fascia is the glue to the body, holding your tendons, bones, and muscle in the right places. After the bath soak, you then relax and melt into the massage table. The entire body will be worked on, yet the focus will remain on the feet. A foot scrub, cupping, and small hot stones will also be used during this service to focus on foot relief. Recommend wearing comfortable, loose clothing for beginning of this service.

Rain Drop Therapy: This technique uses organic therapeutic YoungLiving essential oils to help rejuvenate the mind and helps balance the body. There are nine essential oils used during the session along the reflexology points of the feet which effect the spine with the VitaFlex technique to stimulate the nerves. The oils are then used on the spine to then stimulate the nerves of the spine using the 'raindrop' technique, feathering strokes and other stimulation strokes to help with the spine's alignment. To learn more about what oils are used and what property they each bring to the Rain Drop Therapy technique, visit this link: Click here.

Cupping: Technique: Cupping therapy technique is a very different modality that can tie in well with any massage type. The use of silicone cups provides suction pull of the superficial layers of the skin, fascia and muscles; thus creating specific drawn blood flow to an area, allowing it to loosen. This is a great warm-up tool for the body and can be adjusted at any level for the comfort of the client. It is highly recommended for tied in use of deep tissue and cryo therapy work and is also found very effective with sports therapy techniques to help release scar tissue.

Body/Foot Scrub: This scrub, homemade by peaceful healing, is made from scratch from natural ingredients. For the foot treatment, the scrub is applied and massaged into the feet, wiped and cleaned with a warm towel. This helps stimulate the nerves of the feet and spine, as well as soften your feet. The exfoliating back scrub is applied before or after the massage (client preference), gently massaged with smooth strokes as the scrub exfoliates and softens the skin of your back. It is then absorbed with a warm towel and wiped clean. This also helps stimulate the nerves within your spine and leaving you with silky smooth skin. We recommend combining this with the hot stones!

Essential Oils: These pure and therapeutic oils are water diffused to bring a relaxing environment to your massage escape. Giving you many options to choose from such as: lavender, eucalyptus, rose, tea tree, lemon, grapefruit, pine, rosemary, geranium, peppermint, cypress and many more.

Sports Massage: This modality is consisted mostly of movement, massaging strokes (med-firm), and stretching: PNF stretches and also resistance release.

Sideling/Prenatal: This position is common for women who are pregnant; however, sideling can also be utilized if someone has trouble lying face down, or with turning over due to an injury. You will be provided with body pillow for support of your upper leg (and belly should she choose) along with a pillow for support of the head while lying in this position. Everything is worked on during a massage, just at different angles than a typical prove-face down/supine-face up massage.

Lymphatic Massage: Lymphatic massage is most commonly used to drain the lymphatic system of the body. This is commonly known for cancer patients, however it is also useful in many other areas. Cosmology or dental work is a common factor to help with swelling, along with sports injuries/surgeries. Lymphatic massage is a very light touch. The pressure of a quarter coin on your skin is a sample of what it would feel like. They lymphatic system is vital to our body's function because it is 98% water, which helps flush toxins out of the body.
